The Conversation

Based on a true story of a meeting in June 1945 between two powerful men with opposing philosophies and perspectives over the future of their country: the newly appointed Leader of Yugoslavia, Marshal Tito, and the head of the Catholic Church of Croatia, Archbishop Aloysius Stepinac. It was a dangerous time as the Partisans had won the war against the Nazis, and the Red Army of the Soviet Union was close by to ensure dominance over Eastern Europe.
